The Light Within

After each sorrow, a door swings wide,
Where joy and laughter wait inside.
Though wounds appear, my heart beats strong,
With every scar, I keep moving along.

With a song in my throat, I walk unafraid,
Though thorns may prick and stones be laid.
I laugh at the trials that block my way,
For joy, I know, is never far away.

In the darkest night, I seek out the light,
Chasing shadows with a flame so bright.
No fear of the journey or paths unknown,
With passion and courage, my spirit has grown.

Every test you send is a challenge I bear,
I meet adversity with friendship and care.
Life is my companion, in hues so vast,
And even in storms, I stand steadfast.
