A Journey Through Creativity and Growth

Daily writing prompt
What have you been working on?

Dear friends,

When someone asks, “What have you been working on?” it may sound like a casual question.

But for me, it is far more profound. It’s an invitation to pause and reflect on the evolving tapestry of my creativity, passion, and personal growth.

Lately, I’ve been immersed in several exciting projects, each one helping me uncover new layers of my identity—through writing, art, and self-care.

Writing has become a cornerstone of my daily life, and I’m proud to share that I’ve posted 4,000 blogs in just three years—an achievement that fills me with pride and gratitude.

Each blog post is more than just words on a page; it’s an opportunity to engage with readers on a deep, emotional level, sharing stories that resonate with the universal themes of family values, relationships, and the unexpected challenges life presents.

Currently, I’m engrossed in finishing my third storybook, which is set to be published in two days. The two books I previously published are available on Amazon, and their success has motivated me to keep pushing my creative boundaries.

This upcoming book represents not just a continuation of my storytelling journey, but a testament to my dedication to crafting narratives that inspire, entertain, and provoke thought.

One of my most exciting projects has been the creation of a special category on my blog titled “Living Your Creative Life.”

This space is dedicated to exploring how creativity is not confined to traditional art forms but permeates every aspect of our lives. Whether it’s problem-solving, expressing emotions, or finding joy in the mundane, creativity is everywhere.

I’ve poured my heart into this series, hoping to inspire readers to tap into their own creative potential and view life itself as a canvas waiting to be painted.

Aside from writing, I’ve been channeling my energy into abstract painting—a new frontier that has opened up a whole world of freedom and expression.

Recently, I set a goal to create 51 artworks in a month, and although I only managed to complete 31, the process itself has been deeply rewarding.

Abstract art has become my meditation. It allows me to let go of control and embrace spontaneity, which stands in stark contrast to the structured world I came from in my previous banking career.

One of my latest works explores the theme of balance—an abstract representation of life’s constant dance between chaos and peace.

This piece feels particularly personal, as it reflects my own journey of navigating uncertainties while embracing the joy that comes with creative freedom.

Each brushstroke feels like a dialogue between my inner self and the canvas, mirroring how I see the world—vibrant, unpredictable, and full of possibility.

Of course, creativity thrives best when both body and mind are in harmony. Maintaining physical and mental well-being has become a crucial part of my daily routine.

After all, we can only truly enjoy life when we are physically fit and mentally clear. Recently, I posted a short video titled “Exercise for Fitness,” where I shared some of my personal fitness rituals.

For me, exercise is not just a way to stay healthy, but a powerful tool for mental clarity. It keeps me grounded, energized, and ready to take on each day’s creative challenges.

Looking ahead, I feel energized by the endless possibilities that await. There’s always something new on the horizon—whether it’s publishing a new book, diving into another art piece, or discovering a fresh approach to self-care.

Being asked what I’m working on is no longer about listing tasks but about sharing the journey of growth, transformation, and discovery.

So, what have I been working on? In essence, I’ve been working on life—the ultimate creative project that never really ends.

Each day brings new opportunities, new challenges, and new moments to savor, and that’s the beauty of it all.
