# Unspoken Love #

This poem explores deep feelings of love, loss, and unspoken words. It highlights the pain of a connection that was never fully shared, where silence felt safe and heavy.
The words show the impact of hidden feelings and the effects of unfulfilled love.

Unspoken Love

A tempest raged within my soul,
A silent storm, but a hidden toll.
Words unspoken, feelings so deep,
A love concealed, a heart to keep.

Your eyes, a mirror, saw my pain,
Yet silence reigned, a cruel refrain.
So close, yet distant, worlds apart,
A love unspoken, and a heavy heart.

We walked alone, yet shadows met,
Your absence felt, such a bitter debt.
Tears that hid behind my gaze
Spilled quietly, wetting the page.

In dreams, you come, your voice so clear,
The words you never spoke, that I hear.
But in the waking world, I always  find,
Your silence haunts my heart and mind.

I feel a silent storm that never fades,
Its whispered winds, the price we paid.
Yet even now, through all the years,
Your unspoken love still draws my tears.

i think about this so often. And to get all unromantic

that missed connection, would probably have the same issues you currently have.

    • You’ve captured something so real and relatable in your reflection.
It’s true—those missed connections can feel haunting, full of “what ifs” and unspoken words. But often, we romanticize the past, imagining it to be perfect when, in reality, it might have carried the same challenges we face now. It’s human to wonder about those untold stories, but perhaps the silence was a form of protection, sparing us from discovering those same struggles. It’s a beautiful yet sobering thought, and I admire your depth in recognizing it.
