Forever in My Heart

In the quiet of the night, when the world is still,
I hear the whispers of my heart, soft but thrill.
They speak of love that once was near,
Of laughter shared, and every fallen tear.

The stars above seem brighter tonight,
Yet in their glow, I miss feeling of delight.
Your touch, Your smile, a fleeting glance,
now, lost in the echoes of a distant chance.

The wind carries your name so soft, so loud,
But I hold it close, in deep inside. unbowed
For in my soul, you forever stay,
A memory that time cannot take away.

The pain, though deep, is bittersweet,
I remember those moments we’d meet.
though you’re gone, you’re never far,
you live within each of my healing scar.

As I stand beneath the moon’s soft gleam,
I close my eyes, and I let myself  dream.
Of a love so pure, that knew no end,
