“A Journey Within”
The Depth of Now
Dear friends, I hope this blog finds you in a cheerful mood. As I sit here, sipping my morning tea, I’m greeted by a question that seems both simple and profound: “How are you feeling right now?”
It’s a question we often ask others and one that’s just as often asked of us. But how often do we truly pause to explore the depth of our own feelings in response?
At this moment, a wave of mixed emotions washes over me. There’s a sense of calmness that comes from the routine of my day—a comfort in the familiar patterns I’ve established.
Yet, beneath that calm, there’s a flicker of excitement, like a gentle current, hinting at the possibilities the day holds.

A Mirror to the Soul
“Mirror is my best friend because when I cry, it never laughs.”
This saying captures something essential about our relationship with ourselves. When we ask ourselves how we are feeling, it’s akin to holding up a mirror to our soul.
It’s not just about identifying whether we are happy, sad, or somewhere in between; it’s about understanding the nuances of those emotions. Today feels like a mosaic of emotions for me, each piece contributing to a larger picture of my current state.
There’s contentment in knowing that I’m doing what I love — writing, creating, and exploring the world through words. There’s also a sense of curiosity, a hunger for new experiences and ideas that drives me forward.
But, as with any day, there’s also a touch of melancholy, a quiet reminder of the challenges I’ve faced and the uncertainties that lie ahead.

Embracing the Complexity of Feelings
Feelings are rarely straightforward. They are layered, complex, and sometimes contradictory. Right now, I find myself embracing that complexity, acknowledging that it’s okay to feel multiple things at once.
It’s okay to feel both excited and anxious, hopeful and doubtful, peaceful and restless. There’s a beauty in that complexity, a richness that makes life more vibrant and real.
When we take the time to explore our feelings, we give ourselves permission to be fully human. We allow ourselves to experience life in all its depth and breadth, rather than reducing our emotions to simple labels.
Isn’t that something worth cherishing?

The Power of Presence
There’s a saying, “Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles; it takes away today’s peace.” That hit me deeply, as it underscores the importance of living in the present.
As I reflect on my feelings, I realize that much of what I’m experiencing is rooted in the present moment.
There’s a power in being present, in tuning into what’s happening right now, rather than getting lost in the past or worrying about the future.
Right now, I am enjoying the process of writing this blog. I feel connected — to myself, to my surroundings, and to the work I’m doing.
There’s a sense of alignment between my inner world and the outer world, a harmony that brings with it a sense of peace.
This doesn’t mean I’m without problems or challenges, but it reminds me that the present moment is where my power lies.

A Gentle Reminder
“How are you feeling right now?” is more than just a question; it’s a gentle reminder to check in with ourselves, to pause and take stock of where we are emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
It’s an invitation to be honest with ourselves, to acknowledge both the light and the shadows within us.
For me, today’s feelings are a reminder of the journey I’m on—a journey of growth, exploration, and self-discovery, and above all, my art and paintings.
They remind me that every day is an opportunity to learn more about myself, to understand my emotions better, and to navigate life with a little more grace and compassion.

The Gift of Awareness
One of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is the gift of awareness. By asking ourselves how we’re feeling right now, we open the door to greater self-understanding.
We become more attuned to our needs, more aware of our desires, and more in tune with the rhythm of our own lives.
At this moment, I feel grateful—grateful to God for keeping me alive and giving me the chance to reflect, to write, and to connect with myself on a deeper level.
I feel a sense of fulfillment, knowing that I’m living a life that aligns with my values and passions. And I feel hopeful, trusting that whatever the day brings, I’ll be able to navigate it with a sense of purpose and resilience.
Very true, how am I feeling right now?
I feel alive, present, and deeply connected to the world around me. I’m feeling the fullness of life, with all its joys and challenges, and I’m embracing it all with an open heart.
In asking myself this question, I’ve found a deeper sense of clarity and peace, and I encourage you to do the same.
Thank you, friends, for sharing this moment with me. I hope my words resonate with you. Take a moment to ask yourself how you’re feeling right now—you might be surprised by what you discover.
