#Me and My Feelings#

As the sands of time slip through my fingers, I’ve come to realize that the chapters I’ve already lived outnumber those yet to come.

This sobering truth has ignited a profound transformation within me, one that has reshaped my perspective on life, relationships, and the pursuit of happiness.

Letting Go of Farewells

I no longer fear the final curtain call. Farewells, once tear-soaked affairs, now evoke a sense of tranquility. Life, I’ve come to understand, is a grand tapestry woven with countless threads, each one destined to unravel in its own time.

I’ve relinquished the burden of worrying about what comes after, for I know that life will march on, regardless.

Fearless and Content

The relentless chase for material wealth and societal status has lost its allure. In its place, I’ve cultivated a deep-rooted contentment.

The world doesn’t rest on my shoulders; it’s a vast expanse where countless stories unfold simultaneously. My role is simply to live my own with authenticity and grace.

Kindness and Compassion

Kindness has become my currency. Gone are the days of haggling and bargaining. Instead, I find immense joy in sharing what I have, be it a few extra rupees or a simple smile.

The world, I’ve discovered, is a more beautiful place when viewed through the lens of compassion.

Patience and Peace

Patience, once a virtue I struggled with, is now my constant companion. The repetitive tales of the elderly and the boundless curiosity of children no longer irritate me. Instead, I find solace in their worlds, recognizing the preciousness of their moments.

Appreciating Goodness

I openly praise others for their good deeds and thoughts. The pleasure derived from genuine appreciation is immeasurable. My outlook on brands has changed too.

Personal worth isn’t defined by branded clothes, phones, or other items. True value comes from thoughts and actions.

Selective Company

I’ve learned to curate my life. Toxic relationships and draining interactions no longer have a place in my world. I’ve stopped trying to change people; their paths are their own to tread. And in the grand race of life, I’ve willingly stepped aside, finding peace in my own lane.

Joy in Simple Pleasures

I do what brings me joy without worrying about others’ opinions. Trying to please everyone at the cost of my happiness is a thing of the past. I’d rather stay close to nature than in five-star hotels. Simple meals like millet bread and potato curry satisfy me more than junk food ever could.

Finding Fulfillment in Giving

Instead of spending thousands on myself, I find joy in giving a few hundred to someone in need. This selfless giving, which I’ve always practiced, now brings even more fulfillment. I’ve learned to love silence, preferring it over proving myself right in a pointless argument.

Self-Love and Acceptance

I’ve come to love myself. I realize I’m merely a traveler in this world, and the only baggage I carry is the love and kindness I’ve shared.

My body, a gift from my parents; my soul, a loan from nature; and my name, a legacy from my ancestors. In this grand scheme, possessions and achievements pale in comparison.

Savoring Each Moment

I’ve learned to live in the moment, realizing how precious life is. Nothing is permanent, and anything can happen at any time. These days too shall pass.

For inner peace, I’ve immersed myself in serving humanity, showing kindness to animals, and caring for nature. I’ve found that the path to eternity lies in these actions.

Nature and spirituality have become my guiding lights. In their embrace, I find a sense of connection and purpose. It’s a journey of discovery, a quest for understanding, and a celebration of life in all its forms.

Perhaps, in these twilight years, I’ve finally unlocked the secrets to a truly fulfilling life. It’s a life less about accumulating and more about contributing, less about competing and more about connecting, less about fearing the end, and more about embracing the journey.

I share these reflections not as a testament to perfection, but as an invitation to explore the possibilities that lie within us all. Regardless of age, we can all cultivate a deeper sense of peace, joy, and purpose.

Let us embrace the beauty of every moment, cherish the connections we forge, and live our lives with authenticity, compassion, and grace.
