The Emotional Storm

I was calm, my eyes bore witness.
Then you stormed into my life,
A sudden bliss, my mind gone adrift,
The flame of love rose in my heart.

I was a serene sea, sailors witnessed,
Your wind blew, flickering my long hair,
Causing turmoil in the depths of my heart.
Look what you have done, O my dear.

In my soft arms,
The waves have now surged.
My heart was a quiet harbor,
Now it has become a hub of storms.

My heartbeat shines like thunder’s wind,
Creating havoc in my stormy mind
Feeling a flood of storms in my eyes.
My lips tremble, to control my sighs

My mind is restless, as if gone mad,
Since you knock in my heart,
where my peace gone ?
What should I do with this storm?

Let it rage, let it roar, let emotions spin.
Come on dear, let’s dance together,
Riding the boat of emotions in trial,
Let’s redefine the meaning of life.
