Flight of the Soul

In the heart of every soul, a bird takes flight,

Yearning to soar, beyond the veil of night.

It dreams to dance, midst the stars on high,

To touch the heavens with a whispered sigh.

Yet the sky, an endless expanse, it seems,

Too vast for the bird’s delicate dreams.

With wings unfurled, it strives to ascend,

But the distance to God, it cannot bend.

Still, it flutters on with relentless grace,

Chasing the promise of divine embrace.

Though the goal may elude its tender grasp,

In the pursuit, it finds the strength to clasp.

 That bird is our spirit, wild and free,

And God, the sky, an eternity to see.

Though the distance may seem far and wide,

In our quest, we find purpose, side by side.

So let us soar on with unwavering might,

In the pursuit of truth’s brilliant light.

in the search, in the flight’s sweet song,

We find the essence of where we belong.
