Nice post dear Vermaji. Constipation can affect people of all ages, especially for older people who takes medicines for diabetes and other diseases. My parents have suffered from constipation and I included the following and it works well with them.
1. Having low sugar fruits like guava, robusta plantains, kiwi, etc.
2. Having a cup of salad with raw veggies/fruits at least one time a day in diet.
3. Taking Isabgol with warm water/milk daily at night or adding Isabgol powder in roti, dosa batter etc.
4. Adding raw jaw fruit in daily diet. Raw jackfruit powder (jackfruit flour available in Amazon) can be added to roti, dosa batter etc.
5. Having a teaspoon ghee in warm milk at night or a teaspoon ghee in warm black coffee in morning.
6. Eating boiled sweet potatoes.
