A Journey to Freedom”

From chains unseen, I emerge anew,

Shedding layers of burdens, old and true.

Released from the grip of modern despair,

The weight of the world, no longer to bear.

No more the frantic race against time,

No more the toll of the daily climb.

Retired from the grind that held me tight,

I step into a realm of unbound light.

Sleepless nights and shadows fade,

The darkness within begins to abate.

No longer a punching bag for life’s cruel jest,

I rise above all , and I soar, I’m at my best.

Inner voices once veiled in gloom,

Now whisper of a future to bloom.

The canvas of life, blank and so wide,

A chance to rewrite, to turn the tide.

Addictions defeated, family cared for well,

 In liberation’s embrace, I finally dwell.

 A lesson learned, a truth held near,

To chase my joy, to conquer my fear.

Yes, I am free, a spirit unchained,

My symphony of life, a new note gained.

I will paint my days with colors I hold,

My story of reinvention, my tale unfolds.
