Loved you yesterday, Zindagi
Friends,
Once someone asked me – How do you want to retire?
This question made me think about my journey after leaving my bank job. I realized that retirement is not the end of life, but the beginning of a new one.
In this blog post, I want to share with you how I changed my life after retirement and why you should never stop pursuing your passion.

Love you still, Zindagi
The challenge of retirement
Retirement can be a challenging phase for many people. It can bring a sense of loss, boredom, loneliness, and uncertainty. You may feel like you have no purpose, no identity, no direction. You may miss your colleagues, your routine, and your income. You may wonder what to do with all the free time you have.
I felt some of these emotions when I retired from my bank job. I had worked there for over 30 years and it was a big part of my life. I enjoyed my work and I was good at it. I had a comfortable salary and a respectable position. I had a lot of friends and contacts in the industry.

And always will Love you Zindagi.
There is more to life than routine work
But I also felt that there was more to life than work. I had always loved literature and art, but I never had enough time to pursue them. I wanted to explore my creative side and express myself in different ways. I wanted to learn new things and meet new people. I wanted to have fun and enjoy the remaining life.

If I know what love is
The change of interest
So, instead of sitting at home and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to change my interest and follow my passion. I made one of my close friends as my mentor and started learning creative writing.
I learned how to write stories and poems. It is my passion now.
Moreover, I wanted to revive my drawing and painting hobby which was in hibernation due to the paucity of time.
So, I joined a painting and drawing class and discovered the joy of colors and shapes.
I also started blog writing and shared my thoughts and experiences with the world.
As the situation warranted, I also changed my lifestyle and habits. I became more active and health conscious. I inculcate good habits and I started morning walks, doing yoga, and meditation.

Grow old along with me
I improve with a balanced diet and better sleep. I traveled to new places and explored different cultures. I made new friends and reconnected with old ones.
I realized that retirement is not a time to retire from life, but a time to reinvent yourself. It is a time to discover new aspects of yourself and unleash your potential. It is a time to do what you love and love what you do.

In the end, we discover that
The message for all my friends
If you are approaching retirement or already retired, I have a message for you: don’t let retirement stop you from living your best life. Don’t let retirement define you or limit you. Don’t let retirement make you feel old or useless.
Instead, use retirement as an opportunity to change your interest and pursue your passion.
Use retirement as an opportunity to grow and learn.
Use retirement as an opportunity to have fun and enjoy life.
You have worked hard all your life and you deserve to be happy. You have so much to offer and so much to gain. You have so much to live for.
So, how do you want to retire? The choice is yours. Am I correct?
BE HAPPY….BE ACTIVE….BE FOCUSED….BE ALIVE…
