#I hold my pen once again#

Friends,

This poem is a personal reflection on the journey of an artist, from the innocence of childhood creativity to the struggles and doubts that come with growing up. It highlights the importance of perseverance and the power of encouragement in reigniting a passion for creating.

Through this poem, I would like to encourage the reader to never give up on their dreams and to continue pursuing their artistic endeavors, no matter the obstacles they may face.

#I hold my pen once again #

As a child, I held a pen in hand,

Sketching and drawing across the land.

I found peace in every stroke and line,

Creating art that was uniquely mine.

But doubts crept in as I grew old,

My work was not good, so I was told.

I struggled and fought to find my way,

To be an artist, I dream every day.

I tried every technique and medium to link,

Watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, and ink.

Yet nothing seemed to satisfy,

My need to create, my desire to fly.

Then came a day that cut like a knife,

I showed my art to someone in my life.

Expecting the usual critique, nothing new,

But instead, they saw something true.

A spark of talent that was worth exploring,

They urged me to keep at it, to never stop creating.

To let my creativity flow, to never give up,

Those words were enough to fill my cup.

My passion reignited, a fire deep within,

To create, to paint, and to win.

I poured my soul onto every canvas,

Every stroke, every work creates madness.

My journey as an artist continues still,

I may not be the best, but I have the will.

To keep on going, to keep on trying,

To never give up, to keep on flying.

So, I hold my pen in hand, once again,

Sketching and drawing across the land,

I find peace in every stroke and line,

Creating art that is uniquely mine.

  2. Very nicely done. I am glad you pursued your passion for art. I can identify with the feeling of not being good enough because of what others say about your work. Do it for yourself first. if others enjoy it that is simply a bonus for you!
