Art is a powerful means of self-expression

Art is a powerful means of self-expression. It allows us to communicate our thoughts and emotions in ways that words simply cannot. As an observational artist and a dabbler, I have found that my current obsessions with cartoon drawing and abstract drawing help me to know who I am. Let’s explore how our passion for these three styles of art helps us to express ourselves and gain a deeper understanding of our identity.

I am an observational artist

As an artist, you are always exploring different mediums and techniques to express your creativity. Whether it’s through drawing, painting, sculpting, or any other art form, each medium offers its unique set of challenges and rewards.

Yes, I am an observational artist and a dabbler. I have found my passion in cartoon drawing and abstract drawing. These two mediums may seem very different, but they both offer endless possibilities for artistic expression. In this blog, I will explore the world of cartoon drawing and abstract drawing and how it helps me to know who I am.

Cartooning Drawing

Cartooning drawing is a popular art form that involves drawing cartoon characters or comics. Cartoons are often used for humor, satire, or storytelling. They can be simple or complex, realistic or exaggerated. I feel that the art of cartooning drawing requires skill and creativity. because it conveys emotions and ideas through our drawings

Cartooning drawing is an excellent medium for observational artists because it allows us to capture the essence of a character. As an observational artist, I am developing skills to observe people, animals, and objects with their anatomy and then try to capture their likeness in my art.

Express our sense of Humour

With cartoon drawing, we have an opportunity to take this skill to the next level by creating characters that are both realistic and exaggerated. This art form allows us to convey emotions and ideas through our drawings, making it an excellent tool for storytelling.

Cartooning drawing is also a great way to express our sense of humor. Yes, Humor is an essential part of life, and cartoons are an excellent way to convey it. Is it not?

I am trying to use my drawings to create humorous situations and share this cartoon as fun with our friends through my Blog.

This art form is a great way to get our imaginations to run wild and create something that is both fun and entertaining.

Cartooning and drawing are excellent ways to know who I am,  as an artist. It allows us to explore our creativity and express ourselves in new ways.

It also allows us to develop our own unique style, whether it’s through the characters we create or the way we tell our stories. Through cartoons and drawing, we can discover new things about ourselves and our artistic abilities.

Abstract Drawing

Abstract drawing is an art form that involves creating art that is not representational of anything in the physical world.

Yes, Abstract drawings can be geometric, organic, or a combination of both. They are often characterized by their use of color, line, and form.

Abstract drawing is an excellent medium for dabblers because it allows us to create art without any preconceived notions of what it should look like.

I am a dabbler.

As a dabbler, we may enjoy exploring different art forms and experimenting with new techniques. Abstract drawing allows us to do this without the pressure of creating something that is realistic or representative.

A great way to express our feelings

Abstract drawing is also a great way to express our emotions and feelings. As an artist, we may find that there are times when words cannot express what we are feeling.

Abstract drawing allows us to convey these emotions through color, line, and form. we can use bold colors to express joy or use dark colors to convey sadness. we can use lines to express movement or use organic shapes to represent nature. Abstract drawing allows us to express ourselves in a way that is unique to us.

Abstract drawing is an excellent way to know who I am as an artist. It allows us to explore our creativity and express ourselves in new ways.

It also allows us to develop our own unique style, whether it’s through the colors we use or the shapes we create. Through abstract drawing, we can discover new things about ourselves and our artistic abilities.

Combining both Cartoon Drawing and Abstract Drawing

While cartoon drawing and abstract drawing may seem like two very different art forms, they can be combined to create something truly unique. By combining the two, we can create abstract cartoons or cartoon-like abstract drawings.

Friends,

My endeavor to experiment with different techniques and materials pushes my limits and explores the possibilities of the medium. As I am creating more and more abstract artworks, I see patterns and themes emerge, giving me a deeper understanding of my own creative process.

Thank you for your valuable time. Please share your feeling. Your words encourage me to do even better.

  1. Wonderful work my friend! Art is therapy for the soul and allows us to express, to dream, to create and to explore. As children we were all artists but as we became more and more socialised we drifted away from the fantasy, from the imagination that once guided us. It is a task to become an artist but a rewarding one indeed. All the best!
