#Aspire to have a Good Life#

Friends,

We all want to live a good life. But what does that mean, exactly? To some, a good life might mean financial freedom, while others might define it as having strong relationships or finding personal fulfillment.

Regardless of how we each define it, the pursuit of a good life is a common goal that unites us all.

The first step in achieving a good life is to define what that means to you. What are your values? What do you want to accomplish in life? What makes you happy?

Take some time to reflect on these questions and write down your answers. Having a clear understanding of what you want out of life, will help you set goals and create a roadmap for your journey.

Identify your desire:

It is true that our desire is endless, however, in the present moment what is the priority in life? All that is to write down in your notebook.

Once you have a clear understanding of your goals, it is time to start setting realistic, achievable targets.

This can be as simple as setting a goal to exercise for 30 minutes a day, or as complex as planning a career change. Whatever your goals are, make sure they are SMART goals — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

I chose to live by Choice

Be Optimistic

Optimism helps us to be more successful as well as happier. Studies have shown that optimistic people have on average a life span of 10 to 15 percent longer.

  • Optimistic people have the quality to manage better health, because of a better diet, and have a stronger heart, and being physically active.
  • They are better at dealing with stress with positive thinking and adopting better strategies to tackle the problem.

Physical and Emotional well-being

In addition to setting goals, it is important to take care of your physical and emotional well-being. This includes eating a balanced diet, getting regular exercise, and taking care of your mental health.

It also means developing healthy habits and breaking any negative patterns that might be holding you back. By taking care of yourself, you will be better equipped to pursue your goals and live the life you want.

Build a strong relationship

Another important aspect of pursuing a good life is building strong relationships with others. This can include spending quality time with friends and family, volunteering, or participating in community events.

  • Having strong social connections can bring happiness, provide a sense of purpose, and help us navigate the ups and downs of life.
  • In addition to relationships, it is important to pursue your passions and find meaning in your work. Whether that means starting a hobby, volunteering, or finding a job that aligns with your values,
  • It is important to engage in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Doing work that we find meaningful and enjoyable can bring a sense of purpose and satisfaction to our lives.

Learning to be resilient

Another key component of a good life is learning to be resilient. Life will inevitably bring challenges and setbacks, but it is how we respond to those challenges that will shape our lives.

Resilience is the ability to bounce back from difficult experiences and keep moving forward, even when things get tough. By building resilience, we can develop the skills and coping strategies we need to navigate life’s challenges and pursue our goals with determination.

Practice gratitude

Finally, It is important to cultivate gratitude and positivity. Gratitude is the practice of focusing on the things we are thankful for, rather than dwelling on what do not have. This can help us cultivate a more positive outlook and increase our overall happiness.

When we focus on the good in our lives, it becomes easier to see the opportunities and possibilities that are available to us, rather than the obstacles that stand in our way.

In conclusion, pursuing a good life is a lifelong journey that requires effort and dedication. A good life is a combination of the experience of goodness in different areas. So when you have a good life, it can be said that you are healthy, happy, pleased, blessed, and have a good reputation.

BE HAPPY….BE ACTIVE….BE FOCUSED….BE ALIVE…

  3. The family and personal pictures were so precious. You look like the Vijay of the Bachchan movies. I admire your drawings and sketches. The topic was so relatable.

You brought out the aspect of happiness being like a mountain one has to climb.

It is possible if we break the task into small manageable bits, have a clear road map, and take it one baby step at a time ensuring we preserve our health and energy for the long haul.

Your take on relationships also reminded me of the African proverb,

If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far go together.

Alone I can’t climb the mountain of happiness but together we can.

Thank you for this inspiring post.
