If you have ever seen a Naga Sadhu, you must have found that he never wears clothes.

But have you ever wondered why these Naga sadhus do not wear clothes?

Naga Sadhus are Hindu monks who are famous for being naked and for being adept at martial arts.

it is very difficult to determine the exact number ofNaga Sadhus in India. But it is assumed that there are 4 to 5 millionsadhus in Indiatoday.Sadhusare widely respected for their holiness.

The Kumbh Mela is one of the only opportunities to see the reclusive Naga sadhus, some of whom live in caves after taking a vow of celibacy and renouncing worldly possessions.

This year Haridwar was the destination of Maha Kumbh Mela where people from across India visit for pilgrimage and to take a holy dip into the holy river Ganges.
