This poem shows the pain of a world full of hatred, hunger, and suffering. However, even in darkness, it carries a hopeful message, reminding us that compassion, courage, and unity can heal wounds and bring a better future.
Darkness fades when people choose love instead of fear and kindness instead of indifference.
# From Darkness to Light #
The wind carries ashes through the night,
While smoke conceals the fading light.
Hatred walks through every street,
Teaching young hearts fear and defeat.
Millions sleep with empty hands,
Dreaming of kinder, gentler lands.
Silent tears and broken dreams
Flow like forgotten, hidden streams.
How long will fear rule every soul?
How long will darkness take its toll?
Rise, and let your courage show—
Even the smallest flame can glow.
Light the candle deep inside,
Let faith and kindness be your guide.
For dawn will come, as dawns have done,
When God decides the night has gone.
Break the walls that hate has made,
Let wounds be healed and fears allayed.
Join your hands, let love increase,
And fill this weary world with peace.
Walk together, brave and strong,
Though the road is hard and long.
From sorrow’s ashes, hearts can rise
To paint a new dawn in the skies.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and encouraging words. I’m truly touched that the line “Light the candle deep inside” resonated with you. I believe that lasting change often begins quietly within us—in the choices we make, the compassion we offer, and the hope we refuse to surrender.
Your kindness and support mean a great deal to me. Thank you for reading so deeply and for always finding the light within the words.
