# Hands That Lead #

A touching depiction of a mother and child walking on a dusty path, where love is felt more than said. The poem shows the strength of a mother and the trust of a child, transforming a simple journey into a lasting tale of resilience, care, and hope.

# Hands That Lead #

The road stretches—silent, unending,
dust rising with every step she takes.

Her saree, worn by years and weather,
still carries a quiet kind of strength.

A small hand slips into hers—
not knowing her battles,
only her warmth.

She says nothing.
Yet teaches everything—
how to walk,
how to endure,
how to believe in a tomorrow
she builds step by step.

And in that fleeting, fragile moment,
the world slows down to see:

A mother…
turning an ordinary road
into a journey of hope.

  1. Verma ji, this is simply beautiful.🌷
You’ve captured the quiet, unspoken bond between a mother and child with such tenderness and grace. Every line feels like a gentle step on that dusty path—simple, yet deeply moving. The way you weave strength into the drape of a saree and hope into the clasp of small hands is nothing short of poetic magic. This isn’t just a poem; it’s a tribute to every mother who turns ordinary roads into journeys of love and resilience. Truly touched by your words. 🙏✨

    • Your words touched me deeply—thank you for such a heartfelt and generous reflection.

I’m truly moved that the poem resonated with you in this way. The bond between a mother and child is something so pure and quietly powerful, and I simply tried to listen to that feeling and give it words. Your mention of “gentle steps on a dusty path” beautifully echoes the very emotion I had in mind while writing.

I’m really glad that line stayed with you. Sometimes, the quietest expressions carry the deepest truths, and a mother’s silent strength is one of those rare, powerful presences that speaks without words.
