This poem reflects the quiet call of a new year—not as a demand for perfection, but as an invitation to grow, release what no longer serves, and step forward with courage and intention. It celebrates renewal, self-reflection, and shared hope.
# The Year That Whispers #
Hi, friends—
a new year arrives,
just a change of date,
yet it whispers:
change me.
Change me to grow.
Change me to engage.
Change me to rearrange
what no longer serves.
Why?
To live a good life.
To make life worth living.
Let the wrong things
be gently kicked off—
old fears, old doubts,
old weights we no longer need.
Let the right things
be embraced—
hope, honesty,
and the courage to try again.
The road ahead is unknown,
unmapped,
unfinished.
Still, we step forward—
with courage in our hearts,
with boldness in our choices,
and faith in our becoming.
This is not just a new year.
It is a look within—
a new chance
to enjoy life fully.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
I’m glad it resonated with you in that gentle way—welcoming a new year as a space for intention and quiet growth rather than pressure. That balance feels especially important, and I’m grateful you felt the rhythm of it.

Verma ji, what a beautifully profound and gentle reflection. You’ve captured the true spirit of a new beginning—not with loud resolutions, but with a heartfelt whisper. The lines ‘Let the wrong things be gently kicked off’ and ‘faith in our becoming’ are especially moving. It’s a much-needed reminder that growth is kind, intentional, and shared. Thank you for this gift of perspective and hope as we step forward. Wishing you a year filled with the very courage and honesty your poem celebrates🌷🤝

Thank you so much for these generous and thoughtful words. They touched me deeply. I’m especially moved that those lines resonated with you—growth as something kind, intentional, and shared is exactly the spirit I hoped would come through.
Your reading of the poem feels like a continuation of it, and I’m grateful for the warmth and care you brought to it. Wishing you the same courage, honesty, and quiet faith in your own becoming as we step forward together 🌷🤝

Thank you so much, my friend.
That means a lot to me. I’ve always felt that the most lasting change arrives softly—through whispers, patience, and quiet persistence rather than force. I’m glad the poem spoke to you in that way. Your words encourage me more than you know.
