“Imagine the Chaos…”

Imagine a world where dreams are real, hearts are expressed openly, and masks are removed.
This ghazal looks at what occurs when hidden feelings, unspoken truths, and love are revealed.
‘Imagine the Chaos’ is a poetic look at the delicate balance between illusion and reality, fear and freedom, silence and the soul.

“Imagine the Chaos…”

If oceans turned into wine one night,
Just think of the chaos, the sheer delight.

If dreams took form as waking truth,
No mask would survive that blinding light.

The heart conceals what words can’t show,
If it spoke aloud—what a fearsome blight!

Smiles would falter, charm would fade,
If every façade were stripped of might.

A whisper hides a storm inside,
Unleashed—it could drown the stars from height.

If every prayer held just one name so bright,
Love itself would ignite—with all its might.

If veils were torn from every face, in light,
We’d see the traps we once thought right.

Only God knows the depths within,
If truth emerged—who’d stand upright?

Vijay writes with a trembling pen,
“To hear the soul — takes divine insight.”

    • Thank you so much! 🙏
That couplet truly captures the fragility of our inner worlds — we all wear masks, but if our raw truths ever surfaced… would we still be able to face ourselves or each other?
Your appreciation means a lot. 💫

  3. *”Imagine the Chaos…”* is a breathtaking dance between revelation and ruin—where unmasking the heart’s secrets would shatter the fragile order of the world. The imagery of oceans turning to wine and dreams solidifying into truth pulses with mystical danger, while the trembling pen in the final verse confesses: true sight is both a gift and a terror. A haunting meditation on the cost of raw honesty.

    • Wow… what a deeply perceptive and beautifully articulated reflection! 🌊✨
You’ve captured the very soul of “Imagine the Chaos…” — it is that fragile dance between illumination and destruction. Yes, the heart longs to be seen, yet fears what might be revealed in that stark light.

Your words affirm that poetry lives not just in what’s written, but in how it’s felt and interpreted.

Thank you for seeing through the verses and into the trembling silence between them. 🙏
