Some bonds are strangers, lost in time,
Unspoken, unfelt, like a distant chime.
No warmth, no grace, no spark to ignite,
Just hollow echoes in the cold of night.

The heart longs to find their address,
To return them unopened, a silent mess.
Yet memories cling like shadows, deep,
Refusing to fade, in the soul they seep.

Conversations linger, whispers in vain,
Ghosts of words carry a hidden pain.
These ties that bind in silence and cold,
Lead us to places where sorrow is bold.

In corners of our soul, where wounds reside,
Where hope and loss entwine, we hide.
We search for closure, for a peaceful end,
But linger, uncertain, unable to mend.

For even in the quietest of goodbyes,
A lesson blooms beneath the skies.
Not every bond is meant to remain,
Not every departure leaves a stain.

So, with gentle grace, we walk away,
Leaving behind the sorrow and dismay.
Carrying only what lightens the heart,
Stepping into dawn, a brand new start.
