Adventures in the Golden Age

Those youthful days, a blur of fire,
A boundless well of youthful pep,
We chased each dream with wild desire,
With hearts ablaze and energetic step.

Each dawn, a canvas, fresh and bright,
Adventures bloomed with every quest,
But time, it weaves a gentler light,
Those youthful days now sweetly rest.

The chance to move, a joyous spark,
I’ll rise and dance, a fleeting spree,
Embrace the rhythm in the dark,
Though short the spin, my heart feels free.

On vibrant floors, I can take a spin,
Then back to comfort, soft and kind,
Where gentle aches may settle in,
But restless spirits leave them behind.

My seasoned soul still craves to play,
To chase a spark, a vibrant quest,
No shuffleboard for me this day,
I yearn for passions, put to test.

So let us ponder, hearts alight,
What grand adventures shall I take?
New paths to conquer, shining bright,
This golden age, a flame I will make.
