# My passion, My Drawing #

Sketching has numerous benefits that go beyond just putting pencil to paper. These advantages arise from the act of drawing and dedicating time to sketch anything that we desire in any way we choose to do so.

  • The positive impact of this hobby on our lifestyle is remarkable, and it can significantly enhance our abilities in various aspects of life, not just in sketching.
  • “I believe that drawing is the most wonderful hobby. All you need are some pencils and paper, and you can create art from anywhere you like. I have been practicing sketches and painting for the past two years. It is an art form that I absolutely adore.”
  • Drawing is an expression of our inner thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It’s also an expression of creativity that can be used for self-reflection.
  • It improves our optimism, our character, and our happiness. Whenever I go into depression, I find my drawing helps reduce the feelings of depression and anxiety, and reduces stress. Yes, I got instant relief.

“I believe that starting a hobby or learning a new skill at a young age can be beneficial, as it provides an opportunity to exercise the brain and foster creativity. Moreover, it can help in developing cognitive and learning abilities.

However, I also believe that it is never too late to start learning, which is why I decided to take up a new form of art at the age of 60. Despite my age, I am still able to use my brain and develop my skills in this art form.”

When I wake up in the morning, I go to my workplace and see my favorite drawing which cheers me up.

I am not an Artist but I love this hobby and finding meaning in life through pencil and paper.

What I feel is that drawing & painting is important to me for many reasons. It is highly subjective and also very personal. It is a medium where I try to express my feelings and emotions through sketches.

Now, drawing & painting is my Hobby and has always been a fascination for me. It also reflects our thought and personality.

There is a beautiful quote that I feel with my emotions.

He who works with his hands is called a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is identified as an artist.”

It is true that Art has the ability to help me get through some of the hardest times in my life, especially in times of crisis.

  • It helps me to deal with adverse situations and create something beautiful out of them. It helps to keep us cool.
  • My drawing also helps me to connect with like-minded people and usually reciprocate our feelings through drawings.
  • I am trying to have a piece of artwork that is special to me and keeps me happy feelings.  I am still at work.

There are countless forms of art. When it comes to visual arts, there are generally 3 types: decorative, commercial, and fine art. I like fine art, but I am not good at drawing. Drawing is a challenge for me.

I want to develop my own style of drawing. My drawing teacher suggested that I have to make a lot of sketches with sincere dedication and effort. It will help me develop my skills and that makes me tick.

There is always some purpose in any work. The key to making drawings is to find ways to stay motivated. I have decided to set a specific time aside each day for this hobby.. I think promise yourself is a reward when you’ve filled up your sketchbook.

I have an interest in experimenting with a different type of drawings. It gives me immense pleasure to draw a different type of drawing that helps me develop my skills as well.

For this, I have signed up for a course on Udemy to further extend my skills. My drawing teacher said that sometimes a nugget of an idea you learn from a course can kick-start new ways of working you would never have imagined.

I do so many sketches daily and find that the improvement is there. I also get it analyzed on a weekly basis through our drawing teacher..

They always comment and give suggestions on my drawings and I write down what they suggested.  Some little clues from my mentor help me in further drawing and painting.

I have spent 2 years experimenting with my sketches and paintings. As suggested by my drawing teacher, I am giving more focus to abstract paintings.

I always used to set myself a creative challenge with the objective of completing a particular drawing within the given time frame. That keeps me motivated and excited.

I have also gathered some Artwork from my favorite artists because their works inspire me. It helps me a lot when I practice painting.

I love working in watercolor so I picked the work of a watercolorist. I love that inspires me a lot.

Drawing is my passion, it gives me immense pleasure and happiness. I think it will help me move forward toward my desired goal. I Keep working and hopeful to develop my own style one day.

Thank you very much for taking the time to have a look at my drawings.
