Balancing Goals and Enjoying Life

Bloganuary writing prompt
What are your favorite sports to watch and play?

Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits as we embark on the promising journey of a new year. With the dawn of fresh beginnings, many of us are engaged in the exhilarating process of self-reinvention, eagerly sketching out goals for the months that lie ahead.

Today’s “Bloganuary” writing prompt has nudged me to reflect on a delightful question: “What are your favorite sports to watch and play?” As I am deeply invested in fitness, this question resonates profoundly with my journey of chasing fitness in 2024.

Let’s dive into the realm of my cherished hobby – sports, both indoor and outdoor, that keep me fit and vibrant.

Yes, Many people indeed make resolutions as the year starts, but only a few can stick to them for a long time.

When starting this journey, it’s important to understand that change takes time and a certain mindset. While it’s tempting to set big goals, the key is to develop habits and routines that support our aspirations.

This may involve making gradual progress, getting support from others, and being resilient in the face of challenges.

Self-reinvention isn’t just about the new year. It’s an ongoing process that evolves with time. As we go through the ups and downs of life, it’s important to allow ourselves to adjust our goals, rethink success, and change our strategies when needed.

As we move into the year ahead, let’s approach our goals with hope and practical planning. By combining our dreams with realistic actions, we can pave the way for personal growth and fulfillment.

This year, in my pursuit of health consciousness, my resolution echoes a familiar commitment: daily swimming exercises.

However, with the winter chill settling in, I’ve made a pragmatic adjustment – outdoor games, particularly Table Tennis, have taken the spotlight.

Entering the senior citizen stage, I’m very aware that my physical activity and aerobic capacity will decrease. This often leads to problems like obesity and laziness, which I really don’t want. I prefer to keep them away.

Table Tennis emerges as my fitness ally for the new year, not just to evade the clutches of obesity but as a catalyst for a lifestyle change, focusing on overall health. The pandemic era has instilled a heightened awareness of fitness, propelling it beyond the realms of merely staying slim to becoming a conscious choice for a healthier existence.

Swimming remains a favorite all-around activity, offering controlled heart rates, body cooling, and stress relief. Moreover, my trainer recommends it as a therapeutic exercise for back pain, incorporating spa therapy and various pool exercises using specialized equipment.

Yet, as winter blankets the region, I temporarily bid adieu to the swimming pool and sought an alternative to maintain my fitness momentum – the gym.

Upon entering the bustling gym environment, I was met with a surprising surge of individuals eager to embark on their fitness journey. The gym owner greeted us with a warm smile, acknowledging the newfound determination that people have developed toward their health.

It became apparent that the realization of fitness equating to a healthy body has become a driving force behind sustained commitment.

The gym trainers, in their wisdom, advised senior citizens like me to start slowly and avoid setting unrealistic goals. They emphasized the importance of easing into the fitness routine, recommending alternate-day gym visits as a gentle initiation into the world of workouts.

Rest, they emphasized, is as crucial as exercise. Coupled with a balanced and nutritious diet, they stressed the significance of avoiding junk food to support our fitness journey.

Their golden advice: build a habit of coming to the gym and relishing the moment. In doing so, we would find ourselves not only physically but also mentally fit.

Daily exercise, they suggested, should be limited to half an hour to prevent overexertion. Acknowledging our body’s limits and refraining from attempting to build muscles like a young enthusiast became a pivotal piece of advice.

Furthermore, a clarion call was made for regular health check-ups, including monitoring blood sugar levels and blood pressure – a non-negotiable for senior citizens like us.

In sync with this advice, maintaining a balanced life emerged as a common theme. Beyond the gym, they encouraged us to explore diverse interests. Personally, I have found solace and joy in my passion for drawing and painting. This creative pursuit not only keeps my mind cool and content but contributes holistically to my overall fitness.

My Theme: Chase Your Goals, But Live Your Life.”

The guiding principle that encapsulates my approach is simple: “Chase Your Goals, But Live Your Life.” Fitness should not monopolize our existence but should seamlessly integrate into our lives. This approach not only mitigates the fear of falling short of a specific fitness goal but enhances our overall well-being.

Let’s make fitness a companion on our life journey, not the entire journey itself. A balanced and joyful life, peppered with diverse interests and pursuits, serves as the ultimate recipe for sustained fitness and happiness.

As we collectively chase our fitness goals in 2024, may we find the delicate balance between aspirations and enjoyment, ultimately cultivating a life that is not only fit but also immensely fulfilling.

Wishing you a year filled with health, joy, and the perfect blend of chasing goals and living life to the fullest.

May the depth of purple light energy open your eyes to the numbers which you locked yourself into for 30 plus years let you understand the depths of the waste of utilization of universal energy that you produced to stop yourself from your own internal growth that you would have to enjoy life now instead of through the whole process of it understand your universe you’ll understand your reflection it means very little to me in the US when you talk about a position that’s held in another country instead of about your own self you’re proud of things that are nothingness instead of your own internal being

      • There’s yet but 7,000 original breaths within our body within seven books of energy within the lights spectrum of energy there is one light called Golden light energy this light is where the yield of all energy comes from this energy is not in one form looking within oneself the complete reflection comes outwards this is where we find out who we truly are we start allowing the things like forces like negative and positive forces Newton’s third law of motion starts to work within our lives understanding that the thousands times seven breaths that we have within our body is the original form of knowledge and that everything around us exists also within us per the degree of life that we live on this planet understanding that there is no such thing as a single accomplishment however there are multiple accomplishments that work towards our ability to unlock our communication with golden light energy within the light spectrum remembering that everything without is what brings within knowledge brings a place of discipline where the person within checks themselves thinking that one is on the highest seat of knowledge or of observation forgets about the energy and that it’s not theirs however it’s borrowed
