Amidst the bustling compartment of the train, I found myself sitting next to a girl who turned to me with a request. “Hello, do you have the PIN to remove the SIM from this phone?”
She needed to insert a new SIM card but lacked the PIN required to open the slot. I nodded, reached into my cross bag, and handed her the PIN.
She inserted a new SIM in her Mobile
Grateful, she took it and proceeded to insert the SIM card. A little while later, she seemed restless again. Concerned, I asked if everything was alright.
She sighed and shared her dilemma, “The SIM isn’t getting activated.” I explained that it would activate shortly and that an ID verification would follow before she could use it.
“Why an ID verification?” she questioned. I reassured her that it was a standard procedure, and she seemed to calm down a bit.
As we conversed, she confided that she was running away from home, seeking freedom on the third train from Delhi. She was escaping the confines of societal norms, determined to chart her own course. Her resilience and determination intrigued me, and I found myself drawn to her unyielding spirit.
Her eyes sparkled as she spoke about her journey, and I couldn’t help but admire her courage. Her youthful energy was infectious, and I found myself opening up about my own life. We laughed, we shared stories, and in those fleeting moments, it felt like we had known each other for years.

it was her 18th birthday,
I learned that it was her 18th birthday, and despite the uncertainty of her situation, she exuded a remarkable sense of calm and positivity. Her spirit was infectious, and her strength in the face of adversity left me in awe. As we exchanged stories, she shared her dreams, her aspirations, and her fears with a candidness that touched my heart.
She handed me a small candy as a gesture of gratitude, and I couldn’t help but smile at her innocence. Her resilience and determination were a testament to her unwavering spirit, and in that moment, I realized that she was a force to be reckoned with.
As the train rumbled on, our conversation flowed effortlessly, transcending the boundaries of time and space. In her, I found a kindred spirit, a companion in this journey of life. In her unyielding determination and unwavering spirit,

Love that transcended all boundaries
I found a love that transcended all boundaries, a love that defied all odds. And as the train chugged along, I couldn’t help but wonder what fate had in store for us, two souls entwined in the threads of destiny, hurtling towards an uncertain yet promising future.
The girl said with excitement, “He’s very talented, there’s no one like him.” The girl said, “Very impressive.” I smiled and started looking towards the window.
The girl asked, “Will you go for a love marriage or will you elope and get married? How will you manage and survive during that time?” With every question and conversation, I felt that this girl was at the peak of innocence, completely naive and like a younger sister.
I told her that we won’t elope to get married and also that her father had rejected me firmly at first sight.”
“Why did he reject you?” the girl asked.
I replied, “There could be various reasons for rejection – my caste, my job, my family.”
“Absolutely,” the girl said. For a few moments, she seemed lost in thought, wanting to know more about me. She asked, “So how will your marriage be?”

This is all a matter of destiny
I explained, “The engagement of Khushboo was arranged somewhere else. Slowly everything started to become normal. Talks between Khushboo and her fiancé also started happening over the phone, but as the wedding approached, their demands increased.”
“Demand means the demand for dowry,” the girl asked. “Demand only means the demand for dowry,” I replied.
That boy was also a part of the system of demands. So, I advised her to broke off the engagement because Khushboo could never be happy in such a greedy family, nor could her family be happy.
After somehow convincing the family, I came to the forefront and then our wedding happened. This is all a matter of destiny.
