#Lift your Mood#

Every situation in life is temporary.

Friends,

We all have emotional stress moments sometimes. We might have a bad day at work or disagree with our spouse which may elevate our stress and sour our mood.

As we know this should not remain for a long time. It not only takes a toll on our happiness but our health as well. Yes, it may affect our physical and mental health.

There are so many ways to lift our mood and that depends on the individual person. Watching your favorite TV show, Going shopping, seeing movies, or playing video games. and so many other ways.

Actually, what you think of yourself is much more important than what other people think about you.

My drawing hobby acts as medicine

But, In such a situation my drawing hobby acts as medicine for me. Whenever my mood gets sour, I draw myself in the drawing. It feels like meditation and within some time I get refreshed.

My philosophy is that we are not meant to live in a state of stress, fear, depression, and hopelessness. and my drawing takes care of my emotions and my happiness very well.

I am determined to be cheerful and happy

I love Art and Drawing

Friends, I am not a professional artist, but very much fond of Art and drawing. That is why I practice art and drawing and am improving day by day.

Here, I have something on this topic to share with you. Despite being a student of science, I started this new hobby of Art and drawing two years back.

At this age of senior citizen, I treat myself as an amateur student of Art and drawing. Don’t be surprised, I have made 1001 sketches as of date. It is probably my greatest achievement and this is the time to fulfill my long-standing desire.😂😂

To adopt 21 new Hobbies

As a new year’s resolution, I am very much passionate about New hobbies. This is because I have featured eleven hobbies, including my artwork here in my blog.

Meanwhile, I am working on my other new hobbies as well.  I promised myself earlier to enlist 21 new hobbies this year. Let us hope to keep my promise as mentioned in my new year’s resolution.

It’s all about the mindset

Create an “art schedule

My weakness is that I am not sparing enough time for my drawing. That is the reason for my slow progress. For me,  this is the year to create an “art schedule.” I have planned to spend two-hour in practice sessions on a daily basis.

Yes,  my morning will start with a coffee at my drawing table and I hope it will be helpful to fulfil my passion. I will get documented my drawings which will be saved digitally.

Each week, I will experiment with a distinct form of drawing that will keep me curious and happy. I would like to be known as an ‘artist’

I would like to be known as an ‘artist

Thousands of words

Sometimes people say that a picture is worth a thousand words. But drawing is worth Thousands of words.

Since this new year, I started different types of Cartoon drawings only and am trying to continue this for the whole month of January. I promise myself to draw 150 cartoons and caricatures this month.

In fact, It takes me to the next level of happiness. Cartoon drawing is usually a visual art made of a person whose features and form have been distorted and exaggerated to mock or satirize the subject.

Yes, friends, I am doing Cartoons with the intention of sharing happiness through social comedy and visual wit in my blog.

To be kind to all,

Caricatures are a great graphic art

Making Cartoons or Caricatures is a great graphic art and caricaturists have wielded significant power with their pen, far more so than a writer ever could. We can transmit our messages without writing even a single word through our cartoon drawings.

Once, I had seen a sort of graphic art that was the satirical etchings of Napoleon Bonaparte by the British artist James Gillray.  He depicted the French Emperor as very short and slightly ridiculous, in an oversized hat. I could not resist the smile on my face looking at that satire.

That incident inspires me to learn about Cartoon drawing and enjoy the fun of it. This may be helpful to have a smile on our faces and feel relaxed for a moment.

Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it.

The art is  a Therapy

Art is Therapy for me and it helps me to keep happy and busy. It has so many benefits as well.

• For people who suffer from mental health problems, this art and drawing are very helpful.

• For people who find it hard to be vocal about their feelings or have learning difficulties, art therapy is great for them.

Cherish your solitude.

My heart is like a singing bird

Yes, I am going to start art journaling as a way to keep my mood elevated and fulfill my desire.   Drawing is my passion and  I am doing it on daily basis to reach the goal of 1100 marks at the end of this year.

Whenever I do my drawing, my mood gone uplifted and my heart is like a singing Bird. This year will be mine to be a better artist, and a happier person, as I promise myself.

Not only that, I will post my progress on my website and Facebook on a regular basis to seek your appreciation and blessings. It will keep me moving and excited.

Thanks for reading this Blog. I request you to share your feelings as well.
