Friends,
Today is 2nd October and Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on this day every year to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Father of the Nation, as we call him, led India’s freedom movement along with many other national leaders against the British rule in India.
You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean, if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty .
- Gandhi understood nonviolence from its Sanskrit root “Ahimsa”. Ahimsa is just translated to mean nonviolence in English, but it implies more than just avoidance of physical violence. Ahimsa implies total nonviolence, no physical violence, and no passive violence. Gandhi translates Ahimsa as love.
- His method of non-violence inspired many civil rights movements across the world. To celebrate his contribution to the nation, this day is also celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence by the United Nations.
- As Gandhi ji was said…Satyagraha (Non- violence) is the only road to Ram Rajya , It is our endeavor today to discuss about the true meaning of Satyagraha.
Born on 2nd October 1869, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was India’s tallest leader of the independence movement. He successfully led India’s non-violent movement against the British, which in turn inspired many civil rights movements across the world.

According to Gandhi ji Satyagraha means holding fast unto truth.
- It is more than a technique of political action. Yes, satyagraha is a way of life where realization of truth is attempted through non-violence. Satyagraha is not a subject for research, one must experience it, use it live by it.. as Gandhi ji said.
You can chain me, you can torture me, you can even destroy this body, but you will never imprison my mind.
- Satyagraha is soul force and truth is the very substance of soul for averred Gandhi. He was convinced that if you cling to truth, it will always with you, it will never forsake you, it cannot be submerged in flood. The unconditional surrender to truth gives man the certainty of triumph of good over evil.
It empowers him to stand firm in the right path, despite the trials and tribulations.
- A true satyagrahi never harms his opponent and always advances either mild argument or wins him over through self-sacrifice. Satyagraha seeks to conquer through conversion.
- In the end, there is neither defeat not victory but rather a new harmony. satyagraha thus a double blessing. It is a blessing for those who act according to it and for those against whom this is employed.
The satyagrahi does not believe in defeat. Because he fights for the truth untiringly. In this struggle, death is the salvation and prison is the gateway to freedom.
It was Gandhi’s firm belief that Sarvodaya, (welfare for all), could not be achieved without satyagraha.

The spirit of satyagraha should penetrate every aspect of life and society and mould our thoughts, words and actions accordingly.
The significance of satyagraha lies in the quest for a principal of life.
“Might is right” is changed into “truth is right”. The wind will blow , and the rain will come , but truth alone will remain.
Satyagraha is a force against violence, tyranny and injustice. All these evils arise on account of neglect of the truth that is all pervasive and all comprehending.
I also agree with Gandhi ji thought … if we start resisting evil with evil, violence with violence, anger with anger, then we are only adding fuel to fire.
The most effective force against these evils can be the one which would force them to evaporate, and that can be done only by satyagraha.
Satyagraha is the only road to Swaraj and Ram Rajya as envisaged by Gandhi.
Destroying the cult of violence and slavery to never ending hatred, man would be liberated from within by establishing the brotherhood of man and fatherhood of God.

Today is the also Birth anniversary of Shree Lal Bahadur Shastri.
Shastri ji was born on October 2, 1904. He became the second prime minister of India after independence and played a significant role in nation-building.
Lal Bahadur Shastri also served as Minister of Home Affairs at the time of Jawaharlal Nehru’s government and acquired the position of Railway Minister in 1951.
He also gave the famous slogan Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan during the Indo-Pak war in 1965.
Shastri Ji joined the Indian Independence Movement in 1920. He was a part of the non-cooperation movement.
He also participated in the Salt Satyagraha and got behind the bars in 1930 for more than two years. He was a follower of Mahatma Gandhi.
Let us pay homage to both Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary

I’ve come across that today, more and more people are being attracted to surveillance cameras and the field of photography. However, really being a photographer, you must first commit so much time frame deciding the model of camera to buy along with moving via store to store just so you may buy the lowest priced camera of the trademark you have decided to pick. But it would not end generally there. You also have to consider whether you should buy a digital photographic camera extended warranty. Thanks a bunch for the good guidelines I gathered from your blog.
