Unleashing My Soul’s Canvas

In the depths of my soul, a passion awakens,

A love for drawing, once lost, now unshaken.

Retirement’s embrace reveals a longing within,

To wield the pencil, let creativity begin.

A canvas of memories, childhood’s delight,

Now reignites the spark, glowing ever so bright.

With trembling hands, I confront my self-doubt,

Fear whispers doubts, but courage I tout.

Lines and shapes become my silent voice,

A language of art, where emotions rejoice.

Expression unbound, thoughts flow like a stream,

Through strokes of the pencil, my soul finds its dream.

Family’s objections, a hurdle to surpass,

A delicate dance to balance visions with class.

Through patient dialogue, understanding takes hold,

They see the beauty, the stories I unfold.

Each drawing, a journey, a lesson to learn,
