#Are you happy today ?

“I wake up every morning with a great desire to live joyfully.

I have one question for you —   Are you happy today?

If Yes, then,  Why you are happy ?  If you are unhappy then why ?

 why ? ..why ?

Yes, you may have some reasons to be happy. But this type of happiness is short-lived. Is not it?

One more question — Tomorrow would have you a good day or a bad day ?

I guess, Your simple reply will be that —  you wish every day to be a good day and want to be happy each and every day.

Happiness is all in your mind. We can say , Happiness depends upon ourselves. if everything goes our way, we feel happy..

But the moment something goes wrong,  we feel unhappy and disturbed. It is a fact that our happiness really depends on an external factor.

But we can’t live in the light all the time.

Much of the time our mind is like a balloon in the wind, the balloon blow here and there because of external circumstances.

If we are forced to work with a colleague that we dislike then our happy feeling disappears. When my boss patted my back, We felt happy.

We should ask this question to ourselves — . why am I having a good day ? or why am I having a bad day? We find a list of external factors that influence our happiness.

This discussion finds ways for stable happiness that we all want. Are you agree with that?

The only purpose of life is to live happily on a daily basis.

It is the fact that our happiness depends on external circumstances because we cannot control people and circumstances every single day, hence our happiness or unhappiness will be in the hands of others, won’t it ?

Yes, It will be at the whim of our circumstances. So if you really want to have a good day every day we have got two things, we need to do.

We have the power to imagine better.

Stop outsourcing happiness

The first thing we need to do is to stop outsourcing our happiness, and unhappiness, through the people and circumstances.

In other words, we need to stop attributing our happiness to what’s going on externally. We need to stop blaming others for our unhappiness,

Cultivate a source of happiness

The second thing is that we will have to actively cultivate a source of peace and a source of happiness coming from inside our own minds. So here is something that we would like to commit to memory.

There is a beautiful saying.  Happiness and unhappiness are states of mind, and therefore their actual causes can not be outside the mind.  So if we have a peaceful state of mind, we will be happy regardless of people and circumstances.

If our mind is unpeaceful or agitated, then even if we have good circumstances, we will find it impossible to be happy.

So in other words, it is not what is happening that is making us happy or unhappy; It is how we are responding to those circumstances, that determines whether we are happy or unhappy.

In fact , It is our state of mind that determines our happiness or unhappiness.

It is not rocket science, which is hard to understand. Yes, we all know that already.

But, this is important, how we actually cultivate this stable peace of mind, that we can rely upon, regardless of the external circumstances.

We have so many ways to find our stable peace of mind.

Meditation is one of them. Let us have to make them a part of life.

 Meditation:

Meditation is a mental action. Yes, it is the mental action of concentrating on a peaceful, positive state of mind. If we do that, we can concentrate on a peaceful, positive state of mind.

Through meditating, We actually focus on a positive peaceful state of mind. This is formal meditation and we can meditate at any time to find the inner joy of life.

Yes, here is a perfect opportunity we can concentrate on our minds with patience, Just feel that we are not disturbed not unhappy.

How to meditate:

Just sit comfortably and place your feet flat on the floor and your hands on your lap. And then you can lightly close your eyes and realize the sensation of your breath at the tip of your nose.

As you breathe out, you can imagine you are breathing out any agitation, any mental busyness, any frustration, or unhappiness in your life, breathing it out like dark smoke coming out.

And as you breathe in, you can imagine and believe that you are breathing in a clear bright light, which is the very nature of inner peace. And feel it for a few seconds, this inner peace coming from within.

Friends, whenever you’re having a rough day, you need a pick-me-up to assure yourself that it’s all going to be OK.
You will have to remember a mission statement at the moment to get inspired.
Yes, tell to yourself… I am happy today.
